EXPRESSING THE WORLD

HEART ART
From an early age, I felt passion for art. My grandmother, who became my greatest inspiration, liked very much to excite me with her artistic tales. She used to call me while laying on her bed and made me stare at the curtains that covered her bedroom window. While looking at them she told me amazing stories that she imagined. Stories about women from another era, clad in elegant dresses and adorned with regal hats, covering their heads.
MY FIRST ARTISTIC
ADVENTURES
I started painting at nine years of age, making a reproduction of The ruins of Machu Picchu. During that time, I remember being specially thrilled about having comics, but the fact that no one in my family used to buy them made me feel very frustrated. However, one day, when I was ten, a friend of my mother finally gave me one. I was so excited that it ended up with me copying each cartoon bullet of that comic, page by page, from the beginning to the end.
Clothing design at 14, chinese ink landscapes at 16, oil paintings in many different styles until I found my personal way to express the art that is born in my guts.
